Update: Northbound Jackrabbit Trail restrictions near Interstate 10 continue through May 2
The Arizona Department of Transportation has updated the end date for nighttime restrictions on northbound Jackrabbit Trail near Interstate 10 in Buckeye.
Northbound Jackrabbit Trail remains closed nightly between Roosevelt Street and McDowell Road for utility work. Closures are in place from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Thursday nights, and from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m. Friday and Saturday nights, through Saturday, May 2.
Drivers will not be able to access the northbound Jackrabbit Trail from the Interstate 10 off-ramps during those closure hours.
Drivers heading north on Jackrabbit Trail can detour by traveling south to Roosevelt Street, east to Perryville Road, north to McDowell Road, and then west back to Jackrabbit Trail. If trying to access Interstate 10, you can use Roosevelt Street west to Verrado Way or east to Perryville Road.
ADOT is reminding drivers to slow down and stay alert when approaching and traveling through work zones.
