Seven individuals have been arrested following a drug raid in Buckeye, Arizona, where approximately 800 fentanyl pills were confiscated. The Maricopa County Drug Suppression Taskforce (MCDST), in collaboration with Buckeye Police, executed a search warrant on Thursday at a residence near Miller and Maricopa Roads, according to a post on the Buckeye Police Department Facebook page.
Among those arrested were Jose Martinez, 26, and Luis Salas, 23, both charged with illegal drug sales. The other individuals at the property were taken into custody on outstanding warrants during the raid.
Buckeye Police have two investigators assigned to MCDST, which is dedicated to disrupting drug trafficking operations across the state. This operation is part of their ongoing efforts to dismantle drug networks in the region.
