Earlier today, fire department units from Buckeye Fire Medical Rescue Department, Arizona Fire & Medical Authority (AFMA), Goodyear, and Avondale responded to a fire on 193rd Avenue in Buckeye Valley.
The fire, which originated on the patio, spread to the main structure, causing extensive damage to the property and displacing a family of eight. Fortunately, no injuries were reported among the occupants.

The cause and origin of the fire remain under investigation.
