Buckeye Fire Medical Rescue Department responded last night to a residential fire in Verrado. One occupant of the home was treated on scene for minor smoke inhalation.
According to the department's post, the fire was contained to the garage and crews were able to prevent it from spreading to the rest of the home. BFMRD responded with Goodyear Fire Department, Arizona Fire & Medical Authority and Avondale Fire & Medical.
The cause of the fire is unknown and an investigation is underway.
