As one of the fastest-growing cities in the country, Buckeye, Arizona, continues to experience tremendous growth and new developments throughout the community. This rapid expansion brings exciting opportunities and transformative changes, making Buckeye a dynamic place to live, work, and invest.
You may have noticed crews relocating the power poles along Miller Road. This is an essential part of our Capital Improvement Program, aimed at widening Miller Road to seven lanes between Durango and Lower Buckeye. This significant upgrade will enhance traffic flow and accommodate our growing community.
Construction on this project is expected to be completed by the summer of 2025. We will keep you updated on the progress along the way. Thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation as we work to improve our city's infrastructure!

I’m a new resident to Arizona and I am glad to hear there are big plans for this area. Infrastructure is very important to reduce the heavily trafficked areas. I’m happy that you are planning ahead. I do hope you will be able to also bring in restaurants, parks, and outdoor/indoor entertainment.
