The Buckeye Police Department reported that "we are no longer advising individuals to shelter in place. It is safe to return home if you had left the area." People in a Buckeye neighborhood can now return to their routines after a chemical leak created a toxic orange cloud that came dangerously close to homes.

A video posted to Facebook by Erin Noelle Kitchen showed the orange haze clearly.

The hazardous situation was swiftly reported around 5 p.m. at a chemical manufacturing company near Southern Avenue and Rainbow Road. A video from Arizona’s Family News Chopper showed an orange cloud coming from the Thatcher Company of Arizona, which is part of the Thatcher Group.
