Robot First Responder "Dog" - $400,000

- For what: Purchasing a "remote device that resembles a dog," according to city documents. The robot includes a 360-degree camera and has the ability which include serving warrants, entering buildings and detect drugs. The device would be used within the Phoenix West Valley Real-Time Crime Center jurisdiction and cover use for one year.

Flood Mitigation Planning and Design - $500,000
- Grant title: Promoting Resilient Operations for Transformative Efficient Cost-Saving Transportation
- From who: Department of Transportation
- For what: Preventing flooding at the Yuma Rd. and Verrado Way intersection. With traffic volume at approximately 22,873 vehicles per day, shutting down the intersection due to flooding creates major traffic delays and safety concerns. Over two years, the project would seek solutions to mitigating flood risks.
