The Buckeye Police Department, in partnership with the non-profit organization 30x30 Fundraising, is seeking community support to provide K9 Echo with a bullet-resistant vest.
K9 Echo plays a crucial role in law enforcement, assisting with dangerous tasks such as pursuing violent offenders, conducting narcotics searches, and supporting area and building security operations. To ensure his safety, the department aims to equip him with a vest that protects against handguns, stabbings, and shrapnel. The vest, along with a unique leash, costs approximately $3,500.

Non-profit organization 30x30 Fundraising is leading the campaign to gather donations for this cause. Donations are fee-free, and surplus funds will be used to provide similar equipment to other K9 units in need. As 30x30 Fundraising has historically supported K9 units nationwide, their work highlights the importance of community collaboration in providing essential safety gear for these valued service animals.
People are encouraged to contribute to K9 Echo’s campaign through the provided online link: https://bit.ly/VestK9Echo. Contributions will directly impact K9 Echo's safety, enhancing his ability to effectively serve and protect the community.
