Dreaming of jetting off to paradise, exploring bustling cities, or visiting family across the country? Don’t let your travel plans hit turbulence before takeoff. Make sure you have your Arizona Travel ID, the state’s Real ID-compliant credential, in hand before the May 7, 2025, federal deadline.
Without this special ID, you’ll need a passport or another federally accepted form of identification to board domestic flights or access certain federal facilities. Whether you’re planning a bucket-list road trip or a quick weekend getaway, the Arizona Travel ID makes flying easier and more secure.
In Buckeye, residents can get their Arizona Travel ID at Motor Vehicle Services of Buckeye, located at 1300 S. Watson Rd., Suite 107. The office is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Applying is easy if you bring the right documents. You’ll need:
- Proof of identity (like a passport or birth certificate)
- Social Security number (such as your Social Security card or a W-2)
- Two documents proving Arizona residency (think utility bills or a lease agreement)
Once you’re set with your Travel ID, you can breeze through airport security and focus on the fun.
