The seats were shuffled for five boards and commissions in the City of Buckeye, with several members completing terms and others being appointed or reappointed.
Buckeye City Council approved the changes at its regular meeting on Dec. 2. According to the agenda document, board and/or commission removals occur when a member has resigned or is "ineligible for reappointment because they have served two consecutive terms as regular members, they do not wish to serve another term or they are no longer attending meetings." Reappointments occur when a member has served only one term and is eligible and willing to serve a second term. New appointments occur as vacancies become available and applications "demonstrating eligibility are received and reviewed by Council and staff."
