Buckeyeans know that fast food burger chain In-N-Out Burger has been expected to open in the city for some time now, but that time will have to wait a little bit longer, a spokesperson for the chain tells InBuckeye.
"We do plan to open a new restaurant in Buckeye, AZ. However, we are still in the development application process, so it’s too early to say when we will be able to obtain the approvals necessary to open a restaurant there," said Mike Abbate, vice president of store development. "We remain hopeful to be able to serve the community of Buckeye with this additional location."
The location is expected to be at 1050 N. Verrado Way, Buckeye, AZ, located on the northwest corner of N. Verrado Way and W. Roosevelt St.
"Should we obtain our approval and permits, it normally takes approximately 8-9 months to complete construction and open for business," Patty Peña, the communications specialist for In-N-Out said via email.
So Buckeye might have to wait until the end of 2025 or 2026 before residents can order a double-double with animal fries.
It's likely that over a few months the city will see the famous, inexpensive burger chain open around the same time as Verrado Marketplace.
Big things are coming to the fast-growing city.
