Two seats are essentially decided because only one candidate filed in each race. James Subjack is unopposed in District 5, while incumbent Clay Goodman is unopposed in District 6.
That leaves District 4 as the only contested race. Pamela Croff is challenging incumbent G. Patrick Hagestad.
Voters will go to the polls today if they have not already voted early via mail or in person to cast their votes in a primary election to select three candidates from the few who are running to serve on the Buckeye City Council.
Open seats are for Districts 4, 5, and 6.
