The Heritage replaces downtown’s Cafe 25:35 with outreach concept

Downtown Buckeye restaurant The Heritage will replace Cafe 25:35, according to a spokesperson for the restaurant.

The restaurant will serve all types of food, including burgers and European-inspired food, according to its owner. Heritage's ownership also informed InBuckeye of a Litchfield Park-based non-profit partnership outreach concept that is currently embargoed until they make a formal announcement.

The partnership with the nonprofit will make the downtown restaurant a one-of-a-kind and unique concept in the valley, according to staff.

Buckeye City Councilman Tony Youngker, the owner of the previous footprint, said he took time to decide which concepts would fill the void.

"We were discerning with our choice as to who would follow us in the space. As for the building itself… It will be closed for a short time," he said. "A new concept will fill the space, and they will add their chapters to its story. I will let them introduce themselves."

Heritage ownership also highlighted its fresh service concept, which aims to bring restaurant patrons heightened customer service.

The Heritage's owner told InBuckeye yesterday that it plans to have its grand opening in about three weeks.
