Tack Room shooting investigation ongoing, suspect seemingly identified

Officers have contacted all parties and have held charges related to an investigation of a shooting incident that sent one man to the hospital, which occurred outside The Tack Room on April 18 in Buckeye.

Buckeye Police responded to the incident near South Miller Road and West Hazen Road and found a man who had been shot with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Buckeye police. First responders treated the man at the scene and took him to the hospital. The victim was transported after being shot following an argument outside The Tack Room bar, according to police reports.

A suspect was absent from the scene, according to Buckeye police.

Buckeye police told InBuckeye April 18 that they were working to locate a suspect and asked residents to avoid the area.

“This was an argument outside a bar that escalated with one person shot,” Buckeye police spokesperson Carissa Planalp said. “Suspect is outstanding.”

InBuckeye was updated today and informed that all individuals have been identified and engaged in police efforts.

“All parties involved have been contacted. The investigation is ongoing,” Planalp said. “No arrests have been made, and no charges have been filed.”
