Joanne H. Osborne, co-owner and chief financial officer of Osborne Jewelers, has been named one of the Most Influential Women in Arizona Business for 2026 by the editorial board of Az Business magazine
Az Business magazine selected Osborne from a field of more than 2,200 women considered for the annual recognition. The magazine’s editorial board and a panel of 12 previous honorees chose the 2026 recipients.
Osborne is one of 33 women selected for this year’s honor. The honorees represent industries that include small business, law, banking, health care, education, tourism, construction, and economic development.
The women will be recognized during an Aug. 20 dinner at Chateau Luxe in Phoenix. Recipients may receive the Most Influential Women in Arizona Business honor only once.
Building a West Valley business
Joanne and Ken Osborne started Osborne Jewelers in 1990. During its first year, the business operated as Maryvale Jewelers near Indian School Road and 51st Avenue before gradually transitioning to the Osborne Jewelers name.
The couple opened the Goodyear Osborne Jewelers location in 1996.
Joanne Osborne oversees the company’s financial, business and marketing operations, while Ken Osborne brings decades of experience in jewelry design, repair and appraisals. The family-owned company serves customers from its Goodyear location on McDowell Road.
Osborne said giving back and taking an active leadership role have remained central to her work.
“I believe in giving back to your community, and I feel that you should lead in your community, in your industry and in the things that move your heart and soul,” Osborne said.
That philosophy has shaped the company’s focus on community involvement, employee support, youth mentoring and public service.
Business and public service
Osborne previously served on the Goodyear City Council and represented the West Valley in the Arizona House of Representatives from 2019 through 2023.
During her time in the Legislature, Osborne received recognition for her work involving health care, education, environmental issues and the protection of local control.
“I’ve been blessed with many awards over the years and, as a legislator, for my work in health care, the environment and education, and as a champion for local control,” Osborne said. “I’m just thankful to be able to make a difference and give back.”
Osborne currently serves as president of the Maricopa County Board of Public Health. She also serves on the board of Abrazo Health and as an advisory board member for Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock Teen Centers, along with several other community organizations.
Her honors include the Leadership West Business Leader of the Year award, the Arizona League of Cities and Towns’ Champion of Cities and Towns recognition and a Community Impact Award from Meals of Joy.
Osborne Jewelers also earned local recognition when Buckeye residents voted the company Best Jeweler in the 2025 Best InBuckeye contest. The community awards recognize leading businesses, services and destinations throughout Buckeye.
Az Business magazine said the honorees strengthen relationships and transform communities. They also create opportunities for future generations.
Osborne has owned a small business for more than three decades. She also remains committed to public service and the West Valley.
