Miller Road has a new traffic configuration as construction continues to expand capacity and ease congestion.
From Monday, all northbound lanes will close, and traffic will shift to the southbound lanes. Lane changes are already underway and will continue through the weekend. Crews are finalizing the temporary setup. Drivers should follow the pavement striping and traffic control panels.
Several left-turn restrictions will apply during this phase. Durango Street will stay open.
This traffic pattern will remain in place through mid-June. Depending on weather and other conditions, construction is scheduled to continue through October.

Once complete, the project will expand Miller Road to three lanes in each direction between Durango Street and Lower Buckeye Road, supporting Buckeye’s Transportation Master Plan and aiming to reduce congestion in the area.
The City of Buckeye on their Facebook page asked Motorists are urged to slow down and drive cautiously through the work zone to ensure the safety of construction crews.
