NAPA Auto Parts targets two Buckeye locations

NAPA Auto Parts, a car and truck parts franchise retail shop with over 6,000 stores nationwide, looks to expand with two shops in Buckeye, according to initial development application records obtained by InBuckeye.

The two locations mentioned are at Jackrabbit Trail & Roosevelt Street and Miller Road & Durango Street.

The proposed Durango Street site is on a vacant parcel west of the northwest corner of Miller Road and Durango Street. The application submitted to the city of Buckeye proposes constructing a pre-engineered steel building, parking and landscaping there.

According to the initial development application, the pre-engineered steel building will also house auto repair bays with the Napa store.

The site plan references the building as approximately 75,000 square feet, with 150,000 square feet allocated for outdoor storage.

The second site also proposes a pre-engineered steel building with auto bays. Details of the measurables were not disclosed in its initial application.

According to the application, the proposed project consists of mixed-use with multiple owners, NAPA Auto and other yet to be determined.

Initial applications are subject to final approval by the city. Developers may withdraw their initial applications before the ground is broken.
