McDonald’s is set to cut the ribbon on its newest Buckeye location at 820 N. Verrado Way on Tuesday at noon, marking the fast-food chain’s growing presence in the West Valley.
The grand-opening celebration will include a raffle with prizes, special swag giveaways for customers and crew, McDonald’s apparel, hats, tech accessories, Fun Times toys and promotional items. Every customer will receive a special gift while supplies last.
The Verrado High School Marching Band will perform as part of the festivities, alongside pennant flags, banners, balloons and themed decor. Local community leaders and elected officials have been invited to tour the new restaurant.
The store will also host a snack bar for managers and crew, featuring grab-and-go offerings and McDonald’s branded giveaways.
McDonald’s highlighted several design upgrades inside the new Buckeye location aimed at improving speed, convenience and the guest experience.
Guests can now order and pay using the MyMcDonald’s Rewards App, kiosks, McDelivery and Mobile Order. The restaurant features Elevated Self-Ordering Experience kiosks with future cash-payment options and a streamlined front counter with two menu boards and merchandiser displays.
The new Service Area Optimization design combines digital, delivery and hospitality functions into one central station for better service.
Patrons who dine in will have their drinks brought to the table by staff, part of an upgraded table-service model that McDonald’s says supports a more consistent, hospitable experience, regardless of whether customers order at a kiosk, front counter or via mobile app.
A third drive-thru window in the design allows less time for crew behind the glass and faster delivery of orders during peak traffic.
McDonald’s said its goal is to build a neighborhood restaurant that gives Buckeye residents more dining options closer to home, with greater control over how they order, pay and pick up food.
