EMERSA, a cocktail bar designed to transport guests to changing virtual worlds, is nearing opening in Buckeye.
They have applied for a new Series 6 bar liquor license at Verrado Marketplace. The Buckeye City Council will consider the application during its Sept. 15 meeting.
The item appears on the council’s consent agenda. According to the council action report, EMERSA submitted Application No. 406572 for the license. The business will occupy Suite 101 at 1503 N. Verrado Way. The city legally posted the public notice. All required city departments also reviewed and approved the application. If the council approves the request, the city clerk will forward it to the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control. The state has final approval authority.
A Series 6 license allows a business to sell beer, wine and distilled spirits. Sales may include drinks consumed on the premises and limited off-premises purchases.
EMERSA describes itself as an immersive cocktail bar inspired by observatories and experiential technology.
The concept will combine 4K virtual-reality displays, projection mapping, lighting, sound, and changing visual environments. Guests could experience settings ranging from celestial skies to deep oceans.
The name comes from the word “emerge,” reflecting the concept’s focus on transformation.
EMERSA’s website lists a planned opening in late 2026.
