Help shape Buckeye’s future transportation network later this month

Buckeye residents are invited to weigh in on how the city’s growing transportation system should evolve.

The city is updating its Transportation Master Plan, a long-range guide outlining roadway priorities, trail connections and transit services. The plan helps coordinate with developers and strengthens Buckeye’s position when applying for federal funding for infrastructure projects.

The last plan was completed in 2019. Since then, Buckeye’s population has surged, new businesses have opened and millions of dollars have been invested in roads and regional corridors. City officials say the update will ensure the transportation network keeps pace with the city’s rapid growth and changing needs.

A public open house will be held to share information, take questions and gather community input:

When: Wednesday, Oct. 29, 4–5:30 p.m.
Where: The Landing, 945 N. 215th Ave., Suite 137
