A man was taken to the hospital and is in critical condition after a mobile home fire in Buckeye early Tuesday morning.
At approximately 1:15 a.m., fire companies from the Buckeye Fire Medical Rescue Department, Arizona Fire & Medical Authority, and Avondale Fire & Medical responded to a call of a mobile home fire near the southwest corner of Yuma and Apache Roads, according to Buckeye Fire Department.
Firefighters arrived at a fire with the information that a resident was still inside the structure. Fire crews conducted a search and rescued an adult male from the residence. The person was transported to Abrazo West Valley Hospital and remains in critical condition.
The reason and origin of the fire are currently under investigation.
