Desert Financial Credit Union will open a new branch in the Buckeye Commons development, bringing one of Arizona’s largest credit unions to the city’s growing retail hub.
The branch will be part of the expanding commercial center near Interstate 10 and Verrado Way, an area that has recently attracted national retailers, restaurants and service providers. Desert Financial, which has more than 50 locations statewide, offers checking and savings accounts, mortgages, auto loans and business banking services.
Desert Financial already operates an in-store branch and ATM inside the Walmart Supercenter at 1060 S. Watson Road in Buckeye. The Verrado Way branch will be the second location in the city.
The Buckeye Commons location marks the credit union’s first full-service branch in the city. Officials say the expansion reflects Buckeye’s rapid population growth and rising demand for financial services in the West Valley.
Desert Financial was founded in 1939 and now serves more than 400,000 members across Arizona. The new Buckeye branch is expected to open in 2026, according to officials.
