Buckeye's third Fry's will open soon, but no set date is planned, according to city sources.
A city of Buckeye spokesperson did give InBuckeye a generally anticipated timeframe, which was the third quarter of the current fiscal year, or August or September.
The grocery site will be located at the southeast corner of Miller Road and Broadway Road. The location notably shows a fuel canopy with pumps installed, suggesting the gas portion is nearing completion.
Shelving has also been installed inside the Fry's, with registers and aisles looking about halfway completed.
Phoenix-based Barclay Group is behind the development of the city's newest Fry’s supermarket on the 18-acre retail development. Fry's will be a 123,000-square-foot anchor in the 18-acre plaza, according to reports.
When the site is entirely built out, Fry's will be accompanied by Taco Bell, Black Rock Coffee Bar, Barro’s Pizza, Thai Chili 2go, Swig, Tropical Smoothie Café, Jersey Mike’s and Great Clips across another 29,300 square feet, according to city sources.

2nd; thank you for your great article on Fry’s marketplace, as it progresses. I’ve been wondering what else was was joining Frys.
3rd; can you find out about all the other businesses that are coming to the city of Buckeye, and their locations?
We all see new construction through out the city, but nothing explaining what’s coming.
Thanks again for your great reporting and service. 🇺🇸
Hello. I have a question. Will the city of Buckeye be building a Target Store in the foreseeable future? Please let me know.
Respectfully,
Regina Hailey
They will be putting a Target in the new Verrado Market place. It’s definitely going in there. Also a new Harkins Theater.
Nice to see a Frys, but this area needs a Sams Club as the closest one is way in on Dysart and Vanburen, and I would vetnure to think there are many who would agree with me..
