Buckeye residents can help shape a planned library and community center in Festival Ranch.
The city has opened an online survey asking residents what services, programs, and features they want included in the new facility.
City officials said responses will help guide its planning, design, and programming. The survey will remain open through Friday, Sept. 25.

Residents can take the survey online.
The city will also hold a community open house from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, at Festival Foothills Elementary School, 26252 W. Desert Vista Blvd.
Residents may drop in at any time during the event. City staff will be available to discuss the project, answer questions, and review preliminary concepts.
Feedback collected through the survey and open house will be considered as plans for the new Festival Ranch facility move forward.
Project information and future updates are available at buckeyeaz.gov/festivallibrary.

I would like to attend a face to face meeting but I am a snowbird and won’t return to SCF until the end of October. Is there a chance that you could hold a second meeting in early November to accommodate the snowbirds? I would like to see the new library host a monthly book club. I would like the library to have public access to a few computers, a printer and xerox machine. It would be nice to have a meeting room available for author reads, arts and crafts. A used book store would be nice for us to purchase donated used books. I would be happy to be a committee member for the SCF Library.
Expanded golf cart parking would be nice. Similar to what exists in the Festival community already.
