The Buckeye Police Department has issued community notifications regarding five convicted sex offenders living in Buckeye.
Police released the notifications in accordance with Arizona law to inform residents that the individuals have established residences within the city. The information is being distributed for public-safety purposes.
The individuals identified by police are:
Steven Whitaker
Steven Whitaker, 66, is registered at a residence near West Pecan Road in Buckeye.
According to the police notification, Whitaker was convicted in 2007 of sexual penetration with a foreign object by force.
Jose Rodriguez
Jose Rodriguez, 56, is registered at a residence near West Hadley Street in Buckeye.
According to the notification, Rodriguez was convicted in 1998 of lewd and lascivious acts involving a child who was 14 or 15 years old.
Librado Aguilar Martinez
Librado Aguilar Martinez, 45, is registered at a residence near West Hilton Avenue in Buckeye.
According to police, Martinez was convicted in May 2026 of attempted child sex trafficking stemming from an offense committed in October 2024. The notification classifies the offense as a dangerous crime against children.
Robert Deassis II
Robert Deassis II, 51, is registered at a residence near West Mohave Street in Buckeye.
According to the notification, Deassis was convicted in 1996 of sexual battery involving a victim older than 12. The notification also lists two 2009 counts of failing to register as a sex offender.
Robert Williams Randles
Robert Williams Randles, 37, is registered at a residence near East Long Avenue in Buckeye.
According to police, Randles was convicted in 2014 of attempted child molestation and sexual abuse. The notification states that the victim was a 13-year-old.
The Buckeye Police Department emphasized that the sex offender notifications are intended to protect and inform the public. Anyone who uses the information to threaten, harass, intimidate or commit a crime against another person may face criminal prosecution.
