The Buckeye Police Department has issued community notifications regarding two convicted sex offenders living in Buckeye.
The individuals identified by police are:
Samuel Perez
Samuel James Perez, 22, is registered at a residence near West Wayland Drive in Buckeye.
According to the police notification, Perez was convicted in January 2025 of attempted sexual conduct with a minor, attempted child molestation, and sexual abuse.
Police released the notifications in accordance with Arizona law. The department distributes the information to inform residents and protect the public.
Hector Barrios Aguilar
Hector Barrios Aguilar, 45, is registered at a residence near Sixth Avenue West in Buckeye.
The notification lists a 2003 conviction for attempted sexual assault. Aguilar was also convicted in 2011 of violating sex offender registration requirements by failing to register.
Following the requirements of Arizona Revised Statutes § 13-3825, the Buckeye Police Department issued community notifications about the two registered sex offenders. In addition, the notices give residents information that can help protect the community.
