Buckeye firefighters stop Illini Street blaze before it reaches home

Crews from the Buckeye Fire and Medical Rescue Department responded to a fire at a residence earlier today. Firefighters, with support from the Arizona Fire & Medical Authority, worked quickly to contain and extinguish the blaze.

The fire was located in outbuildings and vehicles on the Illini Street property near Miller Road. Fire crews successfully stopped the fire before it could impact the primary residence. No injuries have been reported at this time.

The cause of the fire, which sparked around noon, is under investigation.
