Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes will be the featured speaker at the Buckeye Valley Chamber of Commerce’s quarterly breakfast on Wednesday, Oct. 15.
The event will take place from 7 to 9 a.m. at the West-MEC Southwest Campus, 500 N. Verrado Way, according to a BVCC release. Attendees are invited to hear Fontes share updates from the Secretary of State’s Office and discuss statewide issues with local business and community leaders.
Fontes, who was elected in 2022, serves as Arizona’s 21st secretary of state. His office oversees elections, business services and state archives, among other responsibilities. Before his statewide role, Fontes was Maricopa County Recorder, where he managed one of the largest voting jurisdictions in the country.
The breakfast is part of the Chamber’s quarterly series bringing government officials, business representatives and community members together for networking and discussion.
