Angie’s in Buckeye answers SNAP concerns with discount healthy bowls through Dec. 31

As grocery and restaurant prices continue to rise amid the ongoing government shutdown and SNAP benefit concerns, Angie’s Prime Grill is stepping up to help families stretch their budgets this holiday season.

Starting Nov. 12 and running through the end of the year, Angie’s Prime Grill locations across the Phoenix metro — including the Buckeye restaurant at Jackrabbit Trail and Indian School Road — are offering all warm bowls for $4.99 each.

Each bowl features seasoned brown rice topped with grilled-to-order, antibiotic-free chicken or a seared falafel patty, with flavor options such as Mexican, Asian, Harvest, Spicy Honey Ranch, Cobb, Greek, BBQ Ranch and Caprese. All meals are freshly made to order.

“Healthy and great-tasting food made with prime and organic ingredients shouldn’t be only affordable to the rich,” said co-founder Tony Christofellis. “Lower- to middle-income consumers are really stressed out with the economy and the holidays. We’re in a position to help, and we will.”

The Buckeye location, open daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. with breakfast served until 10:30 a.m., offers a drive-thru all day and dine-in service until 7 p.m. Angie’s accepts credit and tap payments only.

Angie’s Prime Grill operates 20 locations throughout Phoenix, Tucson, Flagstaff and Las Vegas, with more planned. Learn more at www.angies.com or follow @angiesfoodconcepts on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
