One person was killed and four others, including two young children, were critically injured Thursday night in a single-vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 10 near mile marker 111, according to the Buckeye Fire Medical Rescue Department.
The crash was reported at approximately 9:32 p.m. Emergency crews from Buckeye Fire, along with Arizona Fire & Medical Authority, responded to the scene.
Fire officials said one adult male was pronounced dead at the scene. The other victims, an adult female, a teenage male, and two children, ages 5 and 6, were transported in critical condition to West Valley Trauma Center and Phoenix Children’s Hospital for advanced care.
Eastbound lanes of I-10 remained closed late Thursday as the investigation continued. No additional details were immediately available.
