Country music and BBQ light up Buckeye festival

The sound of country music and the smell of barbecue filled the air at the Buckeye Equestrian and Events Center on Nov. 23, as hundreds of locals gathered to enjoy live music, food trucks, and entertainment.

The event, a collaboration between the center and Bales Hay Sales, featured a lineup of Arizona musicians and was headlined by country music star Easton Corbin. Known for hits like “A Little More Country Than That” and “Roll With It,” Corbin drew an enthusiastic crowd that stayed on their feet for much of the night.

The festival kicked off at 4 p.m., with attendees sampling offerings from food trucks, including the Little Farm Food Truck, Mama T’s Off the Hook Eatery, and Harris’ Smokehouse BBQ. Guests also had the chance to test their skills on a mechanical bull, with Mathew Bowman among those taking a ride.

Music performances began at 6 p.m., starting with Arizona musician Jacob Hyde, followed by local acts KC and the Moonshine Band and the Kruse Brothers. As Corbin took the stage later in the evening, couples and friends could be seen square dancing and enjoying each other’s company under the stars.

Organizers said the event aimed to bring the community together and celebrate Buckeye’s growing reputation as a hub for live entertainment.
