A second child in as many days was arrested for threatening violence at a Buckeye school.
The boy, age 12, faces criminal charges for a voicemail threat, which was found to not be credible. Buckeye Police Department was notified of a "disturbing voicemail" left by a blocked number on the phone of a former Desert Sun Elementary School teacher.
BPD released an unedited audio recording of the voicemail on its Facebook here.
"This is a fifth grader at Desert Sun Elementary," says the boy in the recording. "I'm going to shoot up your classroom. Better watch your back."
Investigators tracked the phone number and located the suspect who was arrested yesterday. He does not attend Desert Sun Elementary School.
He is the fourth child arrested for making non-credible threats of this nature either to a Buckeye school or from a Buckeye residence.
Most recently, a 12-year-old girl was arrested Sunday on terrorism charges for threatening a school in Milwaukee, Wis. Two students, a 13-year-old girl from Bales Elementary School and 17-year-old boy, were arrested and face charges for school shootings threats which circulated on social media two weeks ago.
