New details released on Cholla Ranch crash

Keith Auzenne, 37, faces 15 criminal charges related to a Sept. 2 crash at Cholla Ranch Apartments including kidnapping and assault.

New information released by Buckeye Police Department details the allegations which led to his crashing through the apartment building after a domestic violence dispute with his girlfriend, who was also in the vehicle against her will.

According to BPD, the crash occurred after Auzenne allegedly attacked his girlfriend following an argument.

"During the investigation, officers learned an argument between Auzenne and his girlfriend escalated with the suspect forcing her into the backseat of the car and then driving recklessly before crashing," reads the report.

Auzenne's girlfriend received non-life-threatening injuries in the crash and was treated on scene before being transported to the hospital. Auzenne fled the scene and was found at a nearby home. He was also brought to the hospital for medical care prior to being booked in jail.

Auzenne faces the following charges: one count of transportation violations, seven counts of assault, one count of kidnapping, two counts of transportation violations, one count of criminal damage, one count of DUI, one count of drug offenses and one count of probation violation.
