The Buckeye Police Department teamed up with nonprofit Buckeye Superheroes Saturday to distribute gifts and holiday supplies to local families in need as part of the annual A Christmas Cause event.
A post on social media shows officers, staff and volunteers working on the effort.
"In all, 600 kids were served in this single event with families taking home gifts, toys, books, blankets and food boxes," the post states.
