Drivers can expect lane restrictions along Verrado Way over the next three weeks as crews work on a road restoration project, the city announced.
Construction will take place on the southbound lanes of Verrado Way between Thomas and McDowell roads from Aug. 23 through Sept. 13. Crews are scheduled to work seven days a week to speed up the project, according to the city.

The expedited schedule calls for nighttime work on weekdays and daytime work on weekends. Officials said the timetable is designed to reduce impacts on weekday school traffic while still moving the project forward quickly.
The city advised motorists to plan for extra travel time and use caution in the work zone.

Why use a picture of Verrado Way at Van Buren Street, which is not in the project area? Thomas and McDowell are both north of I-10, Van Buren is south of I-10.
I agree, as the ‘Nice’ photo had me wondering also : )
