D.R. Horton welcomed dozens of families and prospective homebuyers to its newest Buckeye neighborhood, Remington, with a grand opening celebration today. The event featured model home tours, free food from local trucks, and special move-in incentives.

Held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 26040 W. Lynne Ln., the event offered guests complimentary hot dogs and churros from the red-and-black Rockstar Hot Dogs food truck, which attracted a steady stream of attendees throughout the afternoon.

Visitors had the chance to explore completed and under-construction homes in the Remington Express Series, which includes both single- and two-story layouts. Model homes showcased granite countertops, open-concept kitchens, and landscaped backyards with synthetic turf. Several homes featured spacious great rooms and modern finishes with staged furniture and décor.

Prices for homes in the community start in the high $300,000s, with quick move-in options available, including the Caden, Easton, Gaven, and Hayden floor plans. One two-story model displayed on-site boasted multiple bedrooms and a large front patio, while other nearby lots were actively under construction.

Attendees could also enter a raffle drawing to win a Yeti 45 Cooler and learn about D.R. Horton’s "Touchdown Trio Move-In Package," which includes builder incentives for buyers.

Sales representatives Janet Swendson and Jacqueline Lara were on hand to provide information, answer questions, and walk visitors through available options and upgrades.

Located off Southern Avenue and Jackrabbit Trail, Remington offers convenient access to schools, retail, and commuter routes. With a backdrop of the White Tank Mountains and ongoing development in surrounding parcels, the community represents a growing hub within Buckeye’s expanding housing market.

Homebuyers browsing available inventory could review a range of quick move-in options listed on-site, with floor plans such as the 3-bedroom, 2-bath Caden model starting at $382,630, and the 4-bedroom Easton model available from the mid-$380,000s to over $400,000 depending on lot location and upgrades. One oversized lot featuring the Easton plan was priced at $400,455, while several homes with double gates and corner lots carried slight premiums.
