Reduce The Commute Career Fair returns Oct. 20

[City of Buckeye]

Buckeye will host the Reduce The Commute Career Fair on Tuesday, Oct. 20, giving West Valley employers a direct opportunity to recruit qualified local workers.

The event will connect companies with motivated job seekers who live in Buckeye and surrounding communities and want to work closer to home.

Organizers designed the career fair to help employers shorten hiring timelines, lower recruitment costs, and meet candidates face-to-face. Participating companies can also strengthen their presence in the West Valley and build relationships with future employees who already live there.

The event will give employers access to an active local talent pool and allow them to move beyond online applications and résumés.

Organizers will reserve the first hour for veterans and military spouses. Companies that prioritize veteran hiring can use that time to connect directly with candidates who have served and spouses who support military families.

Buckeye’s Economic Development office will open employer registration soon.

Organizers expect space to fill quickly and encourage interested companies to mark their calendars and prepare to register.
