Former Buckeye Union High School basketball star Otis Frazier III is taking his game overseas.
Frazier, who became a key player at the University of Texas at El Paso, has signed with Elitzur Briga Netanya, a professional team in Israel. He will join the club for the upcoming 2025-26 season.
The 6-foot-6 forward is coming off his best collegiate season at UTEP, averaging 13.2 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 2.3 steals per game in 33 appearances. Over his five-year career with the Miners, he steadily grew into a reliable scorer and defender.
Frazier’s progression included a jump from just 2.2 points per game as a freshman in 2020-21 to double-digit scoring in each of his last two seasons. He averaged 10.6 points and 4.7 rebounds in 2023-24 before closing his UTEP career with a team-leading scoring role.
Elitzur Briga Netanya competes in the Israeli Basketball Premier League, the country’s top division. The team earned its place after advancing from the Israeli National League in 2020-21.
Frazier, who first made his name as a standout at Buckeye Union, now joins the growing list of Arizona athletes competing professionally on an international stage.
