Firefighters respond to apartment fire on West Apache

The Buckeye Fire Department investigates a non-injuring apartment fire Thursday in the 100 block of West Apache. [BFD]

No injuries were reported in an apartment fire Thursday night, according to the Buckeye Fire Department.

Firefighters resonded to the minor fire in the 400 block of West Apache Thursday

"The incident was dispatched as a 'Working Apt fire,'" said Rayne Gray, assistant fire chief. "Crews arrived to find unoccupied apartments under construction."

Gray stated the fire was confined to a door jam "with no further extension into the structure and was rapidly extinguished," GHray stated.

The incident is under further investigation by the Buckeye Fire Department.
