A family of three has been displaced in a house fire in the 23000 block of West Hidalgo Avenue in Buckeye, according to the Buckeye Fire Department.
Buckeye firefighters, with assistance from Arizona Fire & Medical Authority, completed operations at the home Monday evening.
Crews responded to the house fire involving the two-story residence and arrived to find active fire conditions.
“Firefighters quickly initiated an aggressive fire attack while simultaneously conducting a primary search of the home to ensure all occupants were safely out of the structure,” said Rayne Gray Assistant Fire Chief.
There were no reported injuries to residents or firefighters, according to a statement from the fire department. The department chaplain is responding to provide support and assistance to the affected family, the department stated.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
