Construction to widen Verrado Way and expand the Verrado Way–Yuma intersection will begin on May 26, according to the City of Buckeye.
The project will add travel lanes along Verrado Way from Yuma Road to Van Buren Street and requires the full closure of the Verrado Way–Yuma intersection for the duration of construction for public safety.
A Community Open House will take place to discuss the project, detour routes and traffic flow:

Attendees can get the latest information on planned detours and schedule impacts at the Open House. Motorists are advised to plan alternate routes once construction begins May 26.
