Parents can get peace of mind this month with free car seat safety checks offered by Buckeye police and fire departments.
The events will be held Tuesday, Sept. 10, and again on Sunday, Sept. 22, from 8 to 10 a.m. at 110 E. Irwin Ave. No reservations are needed. Certified technicians will help families properly install child safety seats.
City officials note that more than half of all car seats are misused. The free checks are designed to ensure Buckeye families keep their youngest passengers safe.
