Buckeye police arrested 9 on DUI-related charges in late July

Buckeye police arrested at least nine people on suspicion of driving under the influence and related charges between July 14 and July 26, according to arrest reports.

  • Alejandro Flores Procopio, 49, of Phoenix, was arrested July 14 and booked on misdemeanor counts of DUI and DUI with a blood alcohol content of .08% or more.
  • Brooke L. Taylor, 32, of Buckeye, was arrested July 18 on suspicion of DUI and DUI with a BAC of .08% or more, both misdemeanors.
  • Tammy Y. Williams, 49, of Buckeye, was arrested July 18 and booked on three misdemeanor charges: DUI, DUI with a BAC of .08% or more and extreme DUI with a BAC between .15% and .19%.
  • Benjamin Hernandez, 22, of Buckeye, was arrested July 19 and faces charges including misdemeanor DUI, misdemeanor DUI drugs/metabolite, felony aggravated DUI with a passenger under 15 and a felony fugitive warrant.
  • Humberto L. Hernandez, 38, of Tonopah, was arrested July 19 and booked on suspicion of misdemeanor DUI and felony possession or use of dangerous drugs.
  • Elias Gaspar, 42, of Buckeye, was arrested July 21 on suspicion of extreme DUI with a BAC between .15% and .19%. He also faces misdemeanor charges of DUI with a BAC of .08% or more and DUI liquor/drugs/vapors combination.
  • Aldo H. Lopez-Apodaca, 53, of Buckeye, was arrested July 25 on a misdemeanor DUI charge involving liquor, drugs, or vapors.
  • Marissa A. Medina, 18, of Buckeye, was arrested July 25 and faces five charges: felony aggravated DUI with a suspended or revoked license, misdemeanor DUI liquor/drugs/vapors combination, DUI with a BAC of .08% or more, minor DUI/underage drinking and driving, and driving with a suspended or revoked license.
  • Jeremy S. Schiesow, 36, of Buckeye, was arrested July 26 and booked on charges of DUI drugs/metabolite, possession or use of a narcotic drug, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The narcotics and paraphernalia charges are felonies.

The arrests occurred throughout Buckeye Police Department jurisdiction and involved multiple officers, according to police.
