The Buckeye Police Department is working with the family of two girls reported to be missing since early this month.
A Facebook post by Jaclyn Ung states her daughters have been missing since Dec 3.
The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, BPD and the Arizona Department of Child Services "have been unable to gain contact with the girls,” the post states. “It is unknown where they are. They are now on the National Missing Persons Registry. Please share this post and call 911 if you see them.”
A BPD spokesperson told InBuckeye the disappearances were reported to authorities Dec. 3 and that they are believed to be with relatives.
“Buckeye police are working to make contact with those relatives to confirm their wellbeing,” said the spokesperson.
A post from Ung yesterday confirmed police were working on the case.
“All I can say is I believe all agencies involved are doing their best to bring the girls home,” Ung stated in her post. “If you see my girls please call PD so they can be returned home safely.”
