Buckeye's economic director announced which stores will accompany the new Fry’s Marketplace at the Buckeye Valley Chamber of Commerce's quarterly breakfast this morning.
InBuckeye reported last week that a new Taco Bell was slated to be built adjacent to the incoming supermarket at Miller and Broadway Roads, according to development records obtained from the city.
Phoenix-based Barclay Group is already constructing the city's third Fry’s supermarket at the 18-acre retail development owned by Forestar Real Estate. A fuel canopy and grocery building show signs of nearing completion. The grocery store is the 123,000-square-foot anchor in that plaza.
This week, InBuckeye learned that Taco Bell and Fry's would be accompanied by a Black Rock Coffee Bar, Barro’s Pizza, Thai Chili 2go, Swig, Tropical Smoothie Café, Jersey Mike’s and Great Clips across another 29,300 square feet.
Thai Chili 2go and Swig are apparently new additions to Buckeye.
The shopping lot will be called Heritage West Retail Plaza.
Applications will trickle into the city in subsequent weeks, confirming the claims. InBuckeye will work with the city to relay that information once it is received.

I live in old town Buckeye and I am really excited for the fry’s and those retail stores. I wish they constructed this across the Walgreens on miller and southern.
