A new Chase Bank branch with a drive-up ATM is planned for the Verrado Marketplace, according to a pre-application project narrative submitted to the City of Buckeye’s Planning and Zoning Division.

The proposal, submitted July 23 by architecture firm APMI, outlines a 3,400-square-foot single-story bank building on a 1.35-acre site at the southeast corner of Verrado Way and McDowell Road. The design includes a drive-thru for ATM services, landscaping, sidewalks and street frontage improvements to match Verrado's master plan.

According to the filing, the project aims to create a pedestrian-oriented design that addresses the open street corner and aligns with the approved material palette for Verrado Marketplace.

Environmental features are also part of the plan. The bank is expected to seek a green building rating (LEED certification), with rooftop solar panels, recycled and locally sourced materials.

The submittal indicates the development will include landscape, grading, and signage improvements for the two street frontages, which take up a large portion of the site.

Daniel Rodriguez, architect for APMI, is listed as the project contact.
