A new Taco Bell is slated to be built adjacent to the new Fry’s supermarket in Buckeye, according to development records obtained from the city.
The shopping area is located at the southeast corner of Miller Road and Broadway Road. Buckeye's upcoming third Fry’s supermarket is already under construction, with a fuel canopy and grocery building showing signs of nearing completion.
The application pitches constructing a Taco Bell with a new 2,153-square-foot building with a double-entry drive-through.
Nvidia recently announced a partnership with Yum! Brands, the parent company of Taco Bell.
The intent is to use AI to expedite drive-thru orders and increase profits. The new technology will measure the line and speed up wait times by suggesting specific menu items to customers that take a shorter time to prepare.
AI will use data from historic car counts and generate action plans for chain managers, studying the methods of the best-performing locations, according to reports.
The submitted project narrative did not volunteer information on whether the upcoming location will have AI analytics.
