Around 12:50 p.m. today, units from Buckeye Fire Medical Rescue Department, Goodyear, Arizona Fire and Medical Authority, Avondale, Glendale and Phoenix responded to StorQuest self storage for a working fire on the second floor of the three-story building.
The sprinkler system contained the fire until firefighters were able to make access and fully extinguish the blaze.
Firefighters were able to evacuate the building, completing a search to ensure everyone was out.
Currently firefighters are conducting salvage and overhaul to reduce any further property loss. No one was injured during the incident.
